Coronavirus: guidance for patients

We are committed to doing all we can to support our staff and patients at this time. Guidance is rapidly evolving, and we will keep you updated with any changes to our services.

We are maintaining services for people who need urgent medical care or essential support for pre-existing conditions. We are offering face-to-face, online, and telephone appointments. Please call us on 020 7515 2714 or email info@balticmedicalcentre.co.uk if you would like to book an appointment.

WE DO NOT OFFER APPOINTMENTS FOR PATIENTS WITH COVID-19 SYMPTOMS SUCH AS FEVER AND/OR NEW CONTINUOUS COUGH.

If you have any of these symptoms, someone you live with has symptoms, or you believe you have been in contact with someone who has been confirmed as having COVID-19, please:

- STAY AT HOME and avoid contact with others by self-isolating.

- If you cannot cope with your symptoms at home; do not go to a GP, hospital, or pharmacy. Use the NHS 111 online service https://111.nhs.uk/covid-19/

- If you cannot use the online service or you are contacting about a child under 5 years old, call 111. Only dial 999 in an emergency.

We have changed the way we work in response to COVID-19 and follow all government advice. We have all the equipment necessary to provide care safely, including hand sanitiser, gloves, gowns, and masks.

Wherever possible, we will give medical advice over the phone or online. Face-to-face appointments are spread throughout the day and patients will not be required to wait longer than 10 minutes for an appointment. We are following an enhanced cleaning schedule so treatment rooms, reception, toilets, and waiting areas will be sanitised between every appointment.

We kindly request that you attend alone if possible, to protect our staff and members of the public.

We accept cash or card payments at the clinic. You can pay by card or bank transfer over the phone.

What can you do to help?

• Only go outside if it is essential

• Stay 2m away from other people

• Wash your hands with soap and water regularly

• Catch it, Bin it, Kill it. Cover your mouth and nose with a disposable tissue when coughing or sneezing.

• STAY AT HOME, PROTECT THE NHS, SAVE LIVES.

Thank you for your efforts in keeping yourself and others safe.
